We say “Never Forget” when referring to 9-11-2001. But a large portion of America truly has forgotten. Twenty-one years is a long time, time enough for an entire generation to have no idea what 9-11 was all about. It’s also time enough to reshape the narrative in order to place blame on people that had nothing to do with the original horror. Trump supporters have even been compared to Osama bin Laden.
The thing about time is that when people forget, they also fail to notice historical fact. The war against Islamic terrorism has been around for a thousand years. It won’t be going way. From the Barbary Pirates to the Ottoman Empire and before, America and yes, the world have fought them for centuries. Why? Is it because we’re all racist assholes who just want to destroy people? No, it’s because the underlying belief structure of radical Islam wants to kill us. Every last one of us.
Let’s look at a few quotes from some of the narratives today. In three separate articles, Breitbart made the case for a potential disaster:
“Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) said Sunday on CBS “Face the Nation” that domestic threats the United States is facing are worse than international terrorism threats.” Breitbart
I wonder if he’d say that if another 9-11 occurred that killed 3,000 more Americans. Same ol’ same ol’ nothing has changed with the Bungling Biden administration in charge except the focus has turned inward. And that’s dangerous.

Seven of the 19 Islamic terrorists who hijacked commercial planes on September 11, 2001 (9/11), killing nearly 3,000 Americans, remained in the United States after overstaying their visas thanks to a wide-open loophole that continues to allow about 685,000 illegal aliens to stay in the U.S. Breitbart
The number of illegal aliens in the US just since Biden took the reins is approaching 2 Million. Add to that the thousands of Afghan who came into the country UNVETTED and you have a recipe for disaster.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General (IG) has issued a bombshell report that accuses President Joe Biden’s administration of resettling Afghan nationals “who were not fully vetted” across the United States.
Following the U.S. Armed Forces’ withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, Biden opened a “humanitarian parole” pipeline that has resettled more than 86,000 Afghans in American communities, many of whom were not screened or interviewed in person. Breitbart
People may have forgotten 9-11-2001, but one day the problem will come back. Jihad is not a fantasy, it is an ideology – and ideologies have a way of returning. Remembering the thousands of deaths at the time, and the hundreds of deaths from after-effects is important.
September 11 is not just a day. It was a wake- up call. And many of us woke up. But it’s easier to wake up then it is to stay awake. And yet the war we’re in isn’t going anywhere. It’s only getting worse.
Islamists and Islamic terrorists accomplished their main purposes which were to drag America into political and military engagements with them, ones that they were bound to win through sheer staying power, while they infiltrated our political system and spurred massive immigration into our country…
Islamic terrorism is not the only thing that matters. It’s not the only thing that will determine our survival. But it is one of those things. And it’s the one that we’ve forgotten. And one of these days we will once again wake up to blood and horror and mass death. Let us hope that this time we stay awake.
You may not want to be reminded of that day. You’d rather forget about it. When the Islamists who ran around London beheading innocent people slowed down, when distance and time began to push the knowledge of it all into the past, everyone began to think we were all alike and that concessions actually work. Human, yes, worthy of respect to a point yes, but ideologically we are totally different.
We must never forget 9-11-2001 – and the need to remember now is more important than it has ever been.
