As we reported Friday, “Gasoline” Maxine Waters, the Trump-hating California Democrat obsessed with impeachment, told co-hosts of ABC’s The View that she would be targeting Russian President Vladimir Putin, er, Vice President Mike Pence once she succeeds in removing President Donald Trump. But her insanity didn’t stop there.
She also responded to news about leaked confidential conversations between the president and foreign leaders by telling The View that she wants to see even more of these leaks, regardless of the consequences to national security.
According to the Washington Free Beacon:
“There’s a lot of Democrats that are disturbed by this because it threatens our national security. Are you disturbed by it?” asked “View” co-host Paula Faris.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
“No, not at all,” Waters said. “I am so glad they’re telling us what’s going on.”
“I need to hear these conversations,” she said to applause.
She blamed the president for the leaks, saying that they represented a failure of leadership.
“Unfortunately, this is his fault,” Waters said. “He is in a White House where he’s got people working for him that don’t believe in him, don’t like what he’s doing, and they’re trying to tell the American public something.”
Faris pointed out the threat to national security these leaks posed, but Waters couldn’t care less.
“America loses here, though. He cannot have a candid conversation with the leader of another country. Mexico’s not gonna want to have a conversation with us anymore, because it could get leaked. Australia, countries are not going to want to get on the phone with the leader of the free world,” Faris said.
But, Waters claimed, “Mexico is glad to have it leaked.”
She added: “And I tell you why: he tried to convince the President that somehow he should not be talking about the fact that they’re not going to fund this wall. And he’s trying to convince him to go along with him to do harm to his country.”
“Let me tell you, the leadership starts at the top,” Waters further said. “And it is this president that his own people have no confidence in. They’re undermining him because they want to see him stop, they want us to do something. Not every president would be treated this way. This man has no value. He lies, they know it, and he’s the danger, and they want us to do something about it.”
Not everyone on the panel agreed.
“It’s a scary thing to try to undermine the president because you don’t like his policy and don’t trust him — and risk undermining the entire country in the process,” added co-host Jedediah Bila. But Waters doesn’t care.

Translation: For Maxine Waters, anything that hurts Trump is good, even if it hurts America in the process. We can’t help but wonder: Does Waters truly want a second bloody civil war over Trump?
Waters, as we reported here, has so far refused to condemn threats to murder President Trump and she has refused to condemn attacks on his supporters. Additionally, she has questioned the patriotism of Trump’s supporters on multiple occasions, even attacking them on the floor of the House of Representatives.
Now, she seems willing to sacrifice national security in her quest to remove Trump.
Maybe the DOJ needs to have a talk with Waters…
