Wikileaks Revelations: Don’t be Distracted

Rush Limbaugh said on October 28 that the re-opening of the FBI investigation was likely a distraction to keep us from looking at the Wikileaks revelations. He’s probably right. Here are just a few of the issues that are showing in the last few days:
Using a Qatar-owned news media
The note pdf from Wikileaks in the trove of Clinton Emails about running a covert State Department project to track defections from the Assad regime in Syria through Al-Jazeera. Al-Jazeera is a news media network owned by the government of Qatar.

So Al-Jazeera was a “primary partner” for the Clinton State Department?
Talk of taking down Gaddafi – on a private email
In this one, we have a State Department staffer, Jake Sullivan, also using his private email to discuss with Hillary about taking down Gaddafi in Libya.

The plan to discredit Trey Gowdy
Then we have the plan from Clinton Staffer Jennifer Palmieri to mount an “offense” against Congressman Trey Gowdy and “set him up” before his appearance on Face the Nation in June of 2015.
“Friends – HRC asked me what offense we could do today to set up Gowdy for Face The Nation tomorrow. Nick and I thought best option would be a statement from Podesta doing some offense on how this latest obsession on Sid emails is absurd, further evidence this is partisan effort. HRC was hoping for a video. Don’t think that is possible for tomorrow. I could see doing one for Tuesday, when we have more email news to face that could put all this in context. In the meantime, Nick is drafting a statement that we will share with all of you. So be on the lookout for that. Thanks, all.”
A history of wanting to rig elections, etc
And it’s not just Wikileaks and the FBI she needs to watch out for: an audio tape from an interview with Clinton in 2006 when she was running for Senate seems to suggest that she was in favor of rigging the elections in Gaza to prevent Hamas from gaining power.
The Observer reported that Eli Chomsky, the Jewish Press reporter who interviewed her kept the audiotape for ten years because of some of the statements she made. They are relevant now.

“I do not think we should have pushed for an election in the Palestinian territories. I think that was a big mistake. And if we were going to push for an election, then we should have made sure that we did something to determine who was going to win.” Senator Hillary Clinton, 2006
Back then Clinton was also seemingly comfortable calling them “Islamic Terrorists” and saying that they were a threat to global security. In 2016, she appears more favorable to the “Palestinians” than the Israelis. Hamas, you remember is on the United States list of terrorists.
In the tape she seems to equate Hamas with Israel. She also says she we should “talk ” with our enemies, in direct opposition to her current harsh rhetoric against Russia. All in all the old audio tape is quite a window into the politically confusing world of Hillary Clinton.
