Whoopi Goldberg to Meghan McCain: Riots over Mueller firing ‘would be fun to watch’

In a recent edition of ABC’s “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg told Meghan McCain that riots over the hypothetical firing of Special Counsel Robert Mueller “would be fun to watch,” Breitbart.com reported.

“We are sitting around pontificating about something that hasn’t happened, that’s going on a lot of unnamed sources so I don’t think we should get too far ahead of our skis,” McCain said.

“I do think everything you’re saying about what would happen if he does fires Mueller, I have said, Lindsey Graham has said it’s political suicide. I one hundred percent think there would be — I think there would actually be rioting in Washington, D.C. I think it would be at levels we haven’t seen,” she added.

“Now that would be fun to watch I have to say,” Goldberg said in response.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Yeah I mean — I think it would take levels that we can’t comprehend since the Nixon era, and I don’t think we should get too far ahead because it hasn’t happened,” McCain said.

Of course, Goldberg forgets that people have a tendency to get hurt during riots.  Does she think that would be fun to watch as well?

A post at Keep and Bear said Goldberg should know better, and wondered if she’s really okay with blood in the streets:

Violence, and blood in the streets of Washington D.C.?  You’re absolutely okay with that?

We have become so desensitized to the idea that the Trump presidency will end abruptly, even violently, that we are unable to recognize the danger in statements such as Goldberg’s.  We have Kathy Griffin and the radical left to thank for that cultural chasm opening wide below our feet.

Goldberg, by the way, promised to leave the U.S. if Trump won in 2016.
