What The Hell Did This Biden Advisor Mean By ‘The Future Of The Liberal World Order’? (Video)

One of Biden’s economic advisors made a stray comment at the White House that caught the attention of the public. It invokes the exact phrasing that has kept anti-authoritarian activist groups up at night.

The context was the NATO summit and the Western response to Russia’s invasion.

Joe was asked how long American citizens could be expected to endure unaffordable gas prices, to which Biden responded ‘as long as it takes’, which he later explained was a reference to however long it takes to foil Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The problem with this answer is that it is the precise opposite of the ‘America First’ doctrine. It prioritizes the real interests and needs of faraway people in some foreign land above the very real crises now faced by struggling families here at home.

There have always been certain words or phrases that have carried more than a hint of ‘conspiracy theory’ about them, as if rich and powerful players were making critical decisions that would reshape our daily life.

Depending on your starting assumptions, conversations about the secret behind-the-scenes workings of the Illuminati or other similar secret societies could range anywhere from serious concern to comical absurdity.

And then George H.W. Bush gave a speech in September of 1990. As it turns out, that speech was delivered on the eleventh of September. What was special about that speech? It was then that George H.W. Bush announced that the coalition would be attacking Iraq in response to their invasion of Kuwait. (Which has certain chilling parallels to Putin’s attack on Ukraine.) That speech was where the English lexicon saw the birth of a new phrase: “New World Order”.

Speculation about what he REALLY meant by that phrase lit off any number of grand theories about fatcats in smoke-filled rooms carving up the world for their personal gain.

But these ideas were mostly an abstraction projected onto whatever blank canvas the interpreter might happen to find. And yet, you did begin to see a shifting alignment of interests between individuals with the kind of wealth or influence that could deliberately collapse economies, short their currencies, and make out like bandits.

Soros is one such person named in that category, but hardly the only one.

Then we began to see examples like Davos where we see billionaires who speak openly as if they are the enlightened betters of the rest of us upon whom falls the grim responsibility of reordering societies around the world in a way they think best for us.

They publish books with titles like the Great Reset, and openly imagine a future, just 8 short years away, where we will — in words that one of Davos’s own people published in Forbes — ‘own nothing and be happy‘. All it will cost us is our freedom.

Twitter, deeply connected to the current White House administration, ran interference on Biden’s behalf publishing a ‘fact-check’ response.

National Economic Council Director Brian Deese uses the phrase ‘liberal world order’ during an interview with CNN
The phrase is not related to the “New World Order” conspiracy theory, of which fact-checkers have regularly debunked connected claims. Academics agree the liberal world order was established after World War II and focuses on multilateralism, openness and rules inshrined [sic] in international institutions.

That is ONE explanation, and it may well be the correct one. But since Twitter has abandoned any pretense of political neutrality, we won’t be taking their word for it.

Especially when we see a lot of billionaires who are deeply invested in shaping American elections, not to help pave the way for individuals in different states have their respective voices and priorities heard while policy is devised in the halls of power, but one in which they will bend America to conform to a vision they themselves have for us.

We see it with billionaire activists buying news media (print and otherwise) and making a de facto extension of one political party. We see it with billionaires laundering hundreds of millions of dollars in Zuckerbucks through charities so that battleground states will vote for the party that particular billionaire favors.

We see it through the immense bankrolling of supposedly grassroots activist groups who just happen to push agendas that line up with myriad policies that all seem intent on condensing political power into fewer and fewer hands.

And they all seem far more interested in phrases like ‘global community’ than they ever have on the rights of the citizen to have a voice in how their leaders govern them.

In 2018, some of those same Silicon Valley bigshots cheered a post that spoke openly about forcing their Blue State sensibilities down Red State throats, whether those Red States wanted it or not:

Leftists Want A ‘New Civil War’ – This Post Is Disturbing

Two years of being pushed around by those who ‘knew better’ than us was plenty, thanks.

As for the idea of giving them any more power over our lives?

That’s a hard pass.
