Former Florida Congressman Allen West issued a statement Friday slamming political correctness in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings during the manhunt for Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, the second suspect in the bombing.
West said, “Let me be very clear, the terrorist attack in Boston and evolving events indicate we have a domestic radical Islamic terror problem in America. We must no longer allow the disciples of political correctness and the acolytes of the Muslim Brotherhood (CAIR, ISNA, MPAC, MAS) to preach to us some misconceived definition of tolerance and subservience.”
“When tolerance becomes a one way street it leads to cultural suicide. Carlos Bledsoe in Little Rock, MAJ Hasan in Ft Hood, the Ft Dix Six, Faisal Shahazad in NYC Times Square — these are just the examples I can type now, “said West.
“When Rep. Peter King attempted to have hearings on domestic terrorism he was attacked for being racist. No more excuses. No more apologies. We are in a war of ideological wills, and we shall prevail. Congratulations to all the law enforcement agencies.”
Several hours earlier, New York Republican Rep. King didn’t mince words when he told the National Review that enough with the political correctness and it is time to start monitoring the Muslim community.

“Police have to be in the community, they have to build up as many sources as they can, and they have to realize that the threat is coming from the Muslim community and increase surveillance there, ”King said.
“We can’t be bound by political correctness. I think we need more police and more surveillance in the communities where the threat is coming from, whether it’s the Irish community with the Westies (an Irish-American gang in New York City), or the Italian community with the mafia, or the Muslim community with the Islamic terrorists.”
