Call it yet another reason to support term limits. While speaking to reporters during a press conference on Thursday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., suffered a case of “brain freeze,” which prompted her to ask, “What are we talking about?”
“I’m still concerned that Director Mueller will still be subject to the supervision of the Trump-appointed leadership at the Justice Department,” she said while attempting to criticize the appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special counsel to oversee the investigation of the Trump-Russia conspiracy theories pushed by Democrats and their media masters.
“We must remain vigilant to protect the integrity of, uh, (the) Mueller investigation,” she said.
“A special prosecutor cannot take the place of a truly independent, outside commission that is completely free from the Trump administration’s meddling,” she added, telling reporters that a commission could address the “broader vulnerability” from “foreign interference in the future.”

That’s when she apparently suffered “brain freeze.”
“The investigation that, uh, Muell, uh, what are we talking about? Special, uh,” she said, continuing to struggle.
“Special counsel Mueller is undertaking,” she said, apparently recovering from her brain freeze, “is about what has happened and is there wrongdoing.
“We’re saying we have got to prevent this from happening in the future, we -– that is one of the reasons we need an outside, independent counsel.”

It’s not the first time that Pelosi has exhibited this type of “freeze,” as Kyle Olson reported back in February:
Referring to Congressional Republicans who refuse to seize Donald Trump’s tax returns and make them public, Pelosi said, “They said that they can’t be caught up in — what is it — rummaging.
“This isn’t rummaging. This is truth…and consequences,” Pelosi said.
“Uh, the truth,” she continued, before stopping awkwardly, staring and continuing to wave her hand, “is — the American people have a right to know the truth.
“We see the consequences that can be dangerous to our national security,” Pelosi continued.
What’s scary is that this is one of the liberals leading the effort to destroy Donald Trump in revenge for winning last November’s election.
