The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, spoke at the CPAC Convention on Thursday and brought warnings of a Communist takeover in the West. He is not the only one to sound the alarm. One Holocaust survivor, Vera Sharav is almost shouting her warning: “Resist, Wake up, Stop Obeying!”

He is correct: I visited Budapest, Hungary in the summer of 1970. At the time, it was a Communist country, complete with peasant farmers, Russian soldiers, and a populace of “hunted” people who were afraid to be seen conversing in public with a bunch of Americans. The country had a thriving Black Market for personal items, and few restaurants and shops were privately owned. Christians were deeply persecuted, but survived in the underground churches. After Gorbachev was put in power in 1989, and later by 2012, the country that had repressed the people was replaced with a liberal Democracy. I have had friends who barely escaped the Iron Curtain with their lives. Things should be better now, but the problems in the US are sliding rapidly toward Communism.
Viktor Orban’s warning is important. He has been a target since he was elected. He put up a wall when the flood of illegal immigrants came and “reduced the flow to zero.” The press calls him a “Christian Nationalist” as if he were a dangerous extremist. But he is caring for his people, not allowing interference. Heed his warnings.

An article in The Epoch Times told of Vera Sharav, a Holocaust survivor who sees a lot of parallels with what’s been happening today and the Holocaust, including the weaponizing of medicine. She was just 3 years old when the Nazis forced her family out of Romania and into a concentration camp in Ukraine. The Epoch Times shared her story, along with her wisdom in remembering what could happen and actually appears to be happening now.
By age 5, her father died of Typhus in a concentration camp. In order to save her life, her mother told people who came to rescue the children in 1944 that Sharav was an orphan. When she found a family that she felt she could trust, authorities tried to separate her. She rebelled and refused. The authorities finally gave in to her. It wasn’t until a day later she learned that the boat with all the orphans was torpedoed by the Russians. Her rebellion, her resistance against intimidation saved her life.
No one called it murder. The Nazis were very adept at propaganda and language. The Jews were called ‘spreaders of disease,’ not unlike the epithets thrown at those who didn’t take the jab.

Why do we obey things we feel are wrong? Why do we blindly accept what the left tells us? We have written about Cuban-Americans who have warned of the rise of Communism in America, including Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children Founder, Rick Ferran. The warning has been ringing out loud and often since at least 2009. And still it is allowed to continue, likely because people want to be “nice.” Children in this day and age have no historical knowledge, so they think Communism and Socialism are good. They are not. Ask any Communism survivor and they will tell you the truth. Perhaps it is now time to “Resist, Wake Up, Stop Obeying” before it’s too late. Or is it too late already?
