On Sunday, Senior Trump Campaign Advisor Steve Cortes hammered Chris Wallace during an appearance on Fox News Sunday over his biased performance during the recent presidential debate in which Wallace engaged as part of a tag team with Joe Biden against President Trump.
Wallace began the segment by aggressively going after Cortes about the Trump family not wearing face masks.
“Everybody wore a mask, why didn’t they?” he asked.
“Chris, the way you’re starting to harangue me now, actually reminds me of what you did to the president during that debate on Tuesday night,” Cortes said in response.
“Oh, yeah—I harangued him!” Wallace, a registered Democrat, proudly declared.
“No, he had to debate not only Joe Biden, but he had to debate you as well. You were not a neutral debate moderator then,” Cortes said.
“I don’t mind tough questions—okay? I welcome reasonably tough questions, but what I don’t think is okay, is for you to become the effective opposition to the President!” he added. “Everyone there was tested in the crowd. They were distanced from each other. People can make reasonable decisions for themselves!”
“No, actually they can’t,” Wallace said, revealing his smug arrogance and his disdain for average Americans. “There are rules and they will be kicked out next time,” he threatened.
He went on to whine that President Trump “interrupted me and the vice president 145 times, so I object to saying I harangued the president.”
He can object all he wants. It happens to be a fact. It’s also a fact that Biden was the first one to interrupt, the same way he did during his vice-presidential debate with Paul Ryan during the 2012 campaign. Of course, Wallace didn’t seem to care about that.

Since that debate, Wallace has come under fire for his performance, which may explain his testy and arrogant attitude on Sunday. Either that, or he’s letting us all see who and what he really is.
So much for “fair and balanced.”
