Video: S.C. Dem. blames Fox News for Charleston shooting, claims shooter watched ‘things like’ Fox

oreillyrutherfordIt seems that South Carolina State Rep. J. T. Rutherford (D) is auditioning for a spot at MSNBC.  While appearing on Fox News’ “O’Reilly Factor,” Rutherford blamed Fox News for the Charleston shooting and claimed the 21-year-old Dylann Roof “watches things like FOX News.”

Of course, he offered no proof of his assertion, but since when do liberals like Rutherford bother with pesky things like facts?  Video of his statement, courtesy of the Gateway Pundit, can be seen below:

Here’s a portion of the transcript, provided by Jim Hoft:

Rep. Rutherford: It is disturbing to most African Americans to watch as FOX News continues to cover stories as to whether the president is truly the president or whether he was born in this country.

Bill O’Reilly: I don’t know anyone on this network who does that. No one.

Rutherford: After six years it has finally stopped.

O’Reilly: In your opinion that’s happening but I don’t believe that’s reality. You’ll have to show me that where it is. Now you say that this Root kid watches FOX new. Do you know that he watches FOX News?

Rutherford: No what I said is he watches things like FOX News. So again, the rhetoric he spoke in the church when he was talking about black men raping white women, about black people raping white women, again, about black people raping white women. He didn’t just make it up. He didn’t just generate that from the sky.

O’Reilly: You think that FOX News justifies brutal crimes against black Americans. Is that what you’re going to do?

Rutherford: That’s you saying that. You again are inflaming the rhetoric. That is exactly what I’m talking about.

Earlier today, I reported that liberals blamed the NRA and the GOP for the shooting that ended in the death of nine people.

Liberals have since lost what’s left of their collective minds and are now using the shooting to label white people as terrorists and call for whites to be denied their Second Amendment rights.

One moonbat even heckled a CNN live report to call white people terrorists.  Don’t just take my word for it — here’s video:

Van Jones is even demanding the media refer to the suspect as a racist terrorist:

It’s enough to make you think liberals really do want a second, bloody civil war.
