Video of the Day: Top HHS Official Reportedly Warns of Left-Wing Hit Squads, Armed Insurrection, Sedition
On Monday, The Hill and others reported that HHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Michael Caputo said in a Facebook live video that government scientists are plotting against President Trump. According to the reports, he allegedly said the CDC is harboring a “resistance unit” to keep a coronavirus vaccine from the public until after the election.
He also reportedly said that “…when Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin.”
“The drills that you’ve seen are nothing. If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get,” he added, calling the murder of a Trump supporter in Portland a “drill.”

Caputo, who has faced criticism for leading efforts to warp CDC weekly bulletins to fit Trump’s pandemic narrative, suggested that he personally could be in danger.
“You understand that they’re going to have to kill me, and unfortunately, I think that’s where this is going,” Caputo, a Trump loyalist installed by the White House in April, told followers in a video he hosted live on his personal Facebook page. Caputo has 5,000 Facebook friends, and the video has been viewed more than 850 times. It has been shared by 44 followers.
The New York Times reported:
“I don’t like being alone in Washington,” he said, describing “shadows on the ceiling in my apartment, there alone, shadows are so long.” He then ran through a series of conspiracy theories, culminating in a prediction that Mr. Trump will win re-election but his Democratic opponent, Joseph R. Biden Jr., will refuse to concede.
“And when Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin,” he said. “The drills that you’ve seen are nothing.” He added: “If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get.”
Mediaite said Caputo deleted his Facebook and Twitter accounts, so we have no way of independently verifying the reports coming out of the liberal media, which has a history of pushing false or misleading anti-Trump narratives in a blatant effort to hurt the president while propping up Joe Biden.
On top of all that, a number of reports have suggested that leftists and Democrats intend to do whatever is necessary to spark a second bloody civil war if Trump wins in November. One so-called “war game” actually suggested three western states secede from the Union if Trump wins.
Additionally, left-wing propagandists have told us in no uncertain terms there will be even more bloody violence unless Joe Biden wins in a landslide.
