During his monologue on Saturday Night Live, alleged comedian John Mulaney suggested the U.S. Senate take the same action against Donald Trump that the Roman Senate took against dictator Julius Caesar.
“Leap Year began in 45 B.C. under Julius Caesar. This is true, he started the Leap Year in order to correct the calendar and we still do it to this day,” he said.
“Another thing that happened under Julius Caesar, he was such a powerful maniac that all the senators grabbed knives and they stabbed him to death. That would be an interesting thing if we brought that back now,” he added.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The UK Daily Mail said the audience laughed and fans applauded him, but others on social media weren’t too impressed:
‘So apparently it’s funny to joke about assassinating the President of the United States,’ one man questioned.
‘If @NBCSNL thinks it is ok [assassinate] people they disagree with, shouldn’t it work both ways for sh**** TV shows?’ another said.
One woman called the monologue ‘disgraceful’, saying: ‘You want to stab Trump? Think you just stabbed your pathetic career. Never heard of you.’
He went on to attack the Founding Fathers, the United States and the Constitution — especially the Bill of Rights.

To answer the question of what’s wrong, one merely needs to understand that liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of insane rage and hate.
This, by the way, is the modern left. Let that sink in.
