While speaking at an event for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Maxine Waters, the Trump-hating California Democrat obsessed with impeachment and conspiracy theories involving Russia, said she can “guarantee” that President Trump is involved in a conspiracy with the Russians to undermine U.S. democracy.
“Here you have a president who I can tell you and guarantee you is in collusion with the Russians to undermine our democracy,” she said.
The Daily Caller said that Waters is not a member of any Congressional committee investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government and has no particular insight into Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of Russian meddling.

But her statement seems to indicate that she believes the alleged collusion is ongoing.
The Daily Caller added:
Waters has been one of Trump’s most vocal critics in the House. Since the election, she has consistently called for the Republican to be impeached, going as far as chanting “Impeach 45” at political rallies.
But Waters offers no specific evidence for why Trump should be impeached. A member of the House Financial Services Committee, Waters generally cites the unproven allegations about Trump’s business dealings and his campaign’s alleged ties to Russia as rationale for removal from office.
In her remarks on Thursday, Waters said that one rebuttal she hears to her calls for impeachment is that the required laws are not in place to warrant impeachment. But Waters proudly noted that Congress can impeach a president for any reason it chooses.
Waters also claimed that Congress dictates what is impeachable.
“Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says it is,” she said. “There is no law that can dictate impeachment. What the Constitution says is high crimes and misdemeanors, and we define that. Bill Clinton got impeached because he lied.”

She also expressed frustrations that she doesn’t seem to have as much support from the black community as she would like, the Washington Times reported.
“When is the black community going to say, ‘Impeach him’? It’s time to go after him. I don’t hear you,” Waters said.
“Don’t another person come up to me and say, ‘You go, girl.’ No, you go!’ ” she added to roaring applause.
The Hill added:
Multiple Democrats have called for Trump’s impeachment, but the party’s leadership in Congress has urged caution, saying the investigations into last year’s Russian election meddling don’t yet warrant it.
Waters has become famous on the internet for her harsh words against Trump. In August, she called him “the most deplorable person I have ever met” and that there was “something terribly wrong with him.”
She said prior to his inauguration that she believed Trump would eventually be thrown out of office, and added in April that she would “fight every day until he is impeached.” In her eulogy for comedian Dick Gregory at his funeral this past Saturday, Waters said, “I’m gonna say ‘Impeach 45 everyday, Impeach 45 everyday, Impeach 45 everyday.’”
As we reported in February, Waters refused to condemn threats to murder President Trump.
