Video: Man alleges North Carolina Ruby Tuesday’s denied service due to Trump t-shirt

On Saturday, a man identified on Periscope as one Frank Ottoman, claimed that he and his family were denied service at a Ruby Tuesday’s restaurant in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina because he was wearing a pro-Trump “Make America Great Again” t-shirt.

According to Ottoman, he, his wife and 6-year-old son stopped at the restaurant after a 10-hour drive from Florida. Frank said the hostesses were rude and refused to greet them when they walked into the restaurant. He believed he heard them say something about “Trump supporters” and informed him there would be a 20-30 minute wait.

But, he said, there were a number of empty tables and patrons who entered the restaurant after him were immediately seated.

“Cannot believe our family was denied service at Ruby Tuesday in Roanoke Rapids North Carolina because I am wearing a Trump shirt. Very sad!” he said on Twitter.
