Video: Antifa terrorists assault veteran in wheelchair

A video that was originally posted to YouTube in April is now making the rounds on the Internet and shows a disabled veteran in a wheelchair being assaulted by Antifa terrorists at the Berkeley Free Speech Rally held that month.

Here’s the video:

On Wednesday, the Daily Caller said incidents like this has prompted internal criticism among Antifa activists:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Anarchists on Reddit’s anarchism subreddit pleaded with Antifa Wednesday not to get into the habit of assaulting elderly disabled veterans, while protesting the rise of violent fascism.

A video posted to the anarchist subreddit Wednesday morning from April showing Antifa throwing water on a disabled vet has attracted internal criticism from the leftist community, with one user complaining about the act of petty violence and proclaiming, “We need to be able to confront the toxic elements in our own groups if we want to be able to confront the world’s scum.”

“This is a serious problem,” Reddit user buttmunchnbutterflys wrote. “The macho posturing against regular and vulnerable folks is bad, and not just because it makes us look bad. It’s called being mean and a bully. I have only seen this kind of behaviour in videos, but everytime I do I don’t see any antifa even try to tell them to stop which is disheartening. We need to be able to confront the toxic elements in our own groups if we want to be able to confront the world’s scum.”

Reddit user swoleprole added:

Just like to remind everyone that in the future make sure you realise what you’re doing, what it’ll look like you’re doing and what image you’re giving off.

Antifa shouldn’t be seen by the public as the group that bully’s people in wheelchairs, attacks people with cameras without warning or fucks with ordinary folks. People don’t care if Nazis get hurt, they like it but regular Trump supporters, journalists, guys with cameras, the disabled and children should be off target. If someone violates that rule they should immediately get thrown out or slapped.

Another person said: “This is not how you win the hearts and minds of people. Bullies are not my comrades.”  That comment, the Daily Caller said, “received numerous downvotes.”

Not only is this bullying, it’s a violation of the law.  The Daily Caller said that one California officer said there were at least two chargeable acts visible in the video, the first being theft and the second being battery.

But it doesn’t make any difference if police stand down, as they have done so many times when Antifa terrorists strike, as they recently did in Berkeley.

The Daily Caller added:

Others in the thread mocked the complaints about violence and surmised that the veteran in the wheelchair was likely “saying some really vile shit.”

The question of wanton and unprovoked violence from Antifa has broken into the mainstream, as recently radical left-wing protesters have assaulted journalists and also peaceful rally-goers in Berkeley. The violence was so unprovoked that Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin suggested Monday that Antifa should be classified as a gang.

“I think we should classify them as a gang,” Arreguin said Monday. “They come dressed in uniforms. They have weapons, almost like a militia and I think we need to think about that in terms of our law enforcement approach.”

Arreguin, by the way, expressed support for “By Any Means Necessary,” a violent organization affiliated with Antifa, on his Facebook page, the Gateway Pundit said in April.

But many say that doesn’t go far enough.  A petition at the White House “We the People” petition site calls on the administration to name Antifa a terrorist group.  The petition, which can be seen here, has over 326,000 signatures — more than three times the number needed for White House action.

The state of New Jersey has already designated Antifa a domestic terrorist group.
