Unreal: This is what Feinstein forwarded to the FBI about Kavanaugh?

As we and others reported earlier, Sen. Dianne Feinstein forwarded a letter to the FBI that allegedly detailed an incident involving Judge Brett Kavanaugh while he was in high school.

Now the Guardian has published a report indicating what the alleged high school incident may have been, and it’s causing a number of people to roll their eyes in disbelief.

According to the Guardian:

A source who said they were briefed on the contents of the letter said it described an incident involving Kavanaugh and a woman that took place when both were 17 years old and at a party. According to the source, Kavanaugh and a male friend had locked her in a room against her will, making her feel threatened, but she was able to get out of the room. The Guardian has not verified the apparent claims in the letter. It is not yet clear who wrote it.

Neither Feinstein nor the White House responded to the Guardian’s request for comment, the report said.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Meanwhile, social media responded to the ridiculous allegation:

“Lame” doesn’t even begin to describe this obvious act of desperation.

Who refers this to the FBI?  That’s easy.  Desperate Democrats…  And no, it doesn’t appear to be sexual misconduct — more like the actions of mischievous high school students.

Then there’s this:

Looks like it to us.

It’s interesting to note that most of the Guardian article focuses on Kavanaugh’s tenure as a clerk for Alex Kozinski, described by the report as “a powerful federal judge who was forced to resign from the bench after more than a dozen women accused him of sexual harassment and assault.”

Kavanaugh, the Guardian said, “worked as a law clerk for Kozinski in 1991 and maintained a relationship with the onetime chief judge of the US ninth circuit for years.”

Nothing in the report, however, indicates that Kavanaugh knew about or approved of the judge’s behavior.

The Senate judiciary committee is still set to vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination on September 20.  We can only imagine what will happen between now and then.  Maybe Feinstein will forward a report to the FBI that he once soiled his diapers as a baby…
