On Wednesday, the Washington Post re-ran an article that highlighted the close relationship between Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen.  Naturally, this prompted the liberal hate machine to attack Pence for being faithful to his wife.

Ashley Parker wrote:

In 2002, Mike Pence told the Hill that he never eats alone with a woman other than his wife and that he won’t attend events featuring alcohol without her by his side, either.

Supporters and critics alike cite her as a force behind her husband’s socially conservative stances, including his opposition to gay marriage and the religious freedom law he signed as governor of Indiana, which opponents worried would allow business owners to discriminate against gays and lesbians by citing religious concerns.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“You can’t get a dime between them,” said Ken Blackwell, senior fellow at the Family Research Council and a senior domestic policy adviser on the Trump transition team. “It is not him seeking her approval, but his doing a sort of gut check with what they have learned together and come up through together in terms of their shared Christianity.”

She also promoted it on Twitter:

How did the “tolerant” left respond?

Here’s a few examples:

Washington Post blogger Paul Waldman added:

No, Waldman, it’s called avoiding the appearance of impropriety.

Buzzfeed writer Anne Peterson said she listened to a Facebook conversation that Pence’s “rules” could be part of a rape culture.

So being respectful and faithful to one’s spouse is part of a “rape” culture?  Seriously?

The hate continued:

Liberal hack journalist Xeni Jarden went even farther, comparing Pence’s fidelity to Sharia law and implied that he’s a rapist.

Only in the alleged “mind” of a liberal is fidelity to one’s wife equivalent to rape and Islamic Sharia law.  These people are absolutely insane with hate.

Liberalism, as I’ve repeatedly said since February 2011, is an ideology of rage and hate.  Sadly, liberals prove that assertion correct on just about any given day.
