Unpopular? Say it ain’t so, Joe

Biden
Joe Biden’s welcome may be wearing thin.

Fox News is reporting that California Democrats “are distancing themselves from the Biden administration over recent supply chain and environmental crises in the greater Los Angeles area.”

And, in a separate article, the cable news organization notes that First Lady Jill Biden is on the campaign trail supporting far-left Democrats Phil Murphy in New Jersey and Terry McAuliffe in Virginia, where they are seeking re-election as governor. McAuliffe was governor in the Old Dominion four years ago, but state law does not allow a governor to serve in successive terms.

President Biden has been in trouble since taking office, and the debacles in Afghanistan and along the southern U.S. border appear to be having a ripple effect. His cancellation of the Keystone Pipeline, followed by spiking energy prices and accompanying inflation are the stuff political headaches are made from.

Rasmussen Reports just published a survey Friday showing 69 percent of likely voters “are opposed to legislation that would require banks to report data to the IRS on transactions over $600, including 55% who strongly oppose the measure.” The Biden administration has tried to portray this proposal as one to keep tabs on wealthy tax dodgers, but middle class Americans consider it an invasion of privacy.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Rasmussen’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll says 43 percent of likely approve of Biden’s job performance, but 56 percent disapprove, including 46 percent who Strongly Disapprove Only 22 percent of survey respondents “Strongly Approve” of Biden’s performance, giving him a -24 performance rating.
