Tulsi Gabbard: Comey Should Go To Jail For Posting Call To Assassinate Trump On Social Media (Video)

While appearing on Fox News, DNI Tulsi Gabbard told Jesse Watters that disgraced former FBI boss James Comey should go to jail for posting an image that advocated the murder of President Donald Trump.

Earlier Thursday, Comey posted a message to his Instagram account that showed shells arranged to spell “86 47,” a clear call for Trump to be murdered.

“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” Comey said in his post.

After facing backlash on social media, Comey deleted the post, but the Internet is forever:

He followed up with a post that no one believes.

“I posted earlier a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I assumed were a political message. I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down,” Comey said.

In other words, Comey expected everyone to believe that he, a former FBI Director, did not know the meaning of “86.”

I call “BS.”

"86 him", "to 86", "86 someone" has multiple meanings in the hotel🏨 management/hospitality industry but also has a more dangerous usage as a slang "to kill".#Comey using "86 47" alludes to either "get rid of POTUS 47" or worse, "to 86 POTUS 47".

Apparently, the Trump administration also took the threat seriously, and have launched an investigation.

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey just called for the assassination of @POTUS Trump.

DHS and Secret Service is investigating this threat and will respond appropriately.

The Secret Service also weighed in:

Will they put him in prison? They should, and Gabbard agreed, telling Watters that Comey belongs in jail for his threatening message:
