Trump Takes A Risk In Philly… And It Pays Off BIGLY (Video)

In one of the more memorable moments of his 2016 upset victory, Trump showed up in Michigan, before a black audience, and asked the obvious question: what the hell do you have to lose?

It was a good point then — after years of being a Democrat stronghold left them in worse condition than they started — and it’s an even better point now, when both candidates have a record to measure them buy.

But there’s a reason that GOP haven’t wandered into ‘hostile’ territory very often — despite the success that Vivek also recently found in front of receptive audiences in very unlikely zip codes. In Bongino’s words, campaigns are all about snapshots and soundbites. Showing up in front of a hostile audience, and looking like a clown gives a hostile media free fodder to use against you.

The last thing any Republican wants is to see footage of a group he’s trying to win over booing him in a public forum played on a loop on TV.

Trump has shown himself able to campaign in unconventional ways. He shows up at an MMA event, with Dana White, and the crowds go wild.

But that’s home turf. What happens if he goes to Philadelphia, to a sneaker convention.

Big reward with the sneaker-crazy demographic (which includes a LOT of Dem voters) if he can make it work. Plenty of ammo for the other side if it flops.

Trump is a risk-taker. He didn’t go there as merely a candidate. He unleashed a line of sneakers. As for the crowd reaction…?

So far, so good, crowd seems enthusiastic.

That was good. This is better. Sound up for the crowd reaction when one young supporter makes her case to the crowd, pointing to the endless DOJ harassment.

Just LISTEN to those USA chants. Ever wonder why it is that Democrat leaders never seem to attract crowds that shout those patriotic chants? It’s a real enigma, isn’t it?

Speaking of Michigan, he went there this weekend too.

Biden thought it was pretty impressive to call up a Union Boss as a backer. Typical.

Trump brought in the actual dirt-under-the-fingernails workers IN the auto union.

These aren’t just ‘wins for Trump’. They are wins for Trump in the places that Joe Biden’s team is supposed to chalk up as ‘safe liberal strongholds’.

Dems may have a big money advantage in recent elections… but if they’re forced to play defense EVERYWHERE even that money advantage can’t work miracles.

The sooner Haley wakes up to reality, the sooner we can stop with the stupid intramural sniping and get the kind of work done that needs doing to save America from being fully refashioned into an anti-Constitutional Bizarro-World woke nightmare parody of what it was created to be in the first place.

That project that will take an absolute uprooting of huge chunks of the increasingly activist Administrative State.

Another 4 years of Dem/Uniparty power would try to make that irrevocably permanent. The rest of us want to tear it down.

To borrow a phrase from Reagan — it’s a Time for Choosing.
