Trump supporter threatened, assaulted by Antifa as LAPD defends attacker — Video

LAPD Antifa assault threatA disturbing video posted to Twitter on Sunday shows officers of the LAPD defending an individual who is seen making threats and assaulting Timothy Treadstone, who uses the Twitter name, “Baked Alaska.”  The incident occurred during an event in which supporters of President Trump were defending the president’s Hollywood star.  As a result of the incident, Cassandra Fairbanks said, a complaint is being filed against two officers involved.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“The dude literally grabbed my phone and hand, he got in my face saying he was going to knock me out and the cops said that was okay,” Treadstone told Big League Politics. “They were on ANTIFA & BLM side all day it was disgusting.”

Fairbanks added:

When police intervened, it was not to stop the aggressive protester who had just attempted to knock Treadstone’s phone out of his hand while threatening to knock him out.

“You’re going to get that camera out of my face or I’m going to knock you the f-ck out,” the aggressor tells Treadstone as the police made their way over to the altercation.

Immediately, the officers sided with the protester, telling Treadstone that he needed to move further down the sidewalk away from where they were.

“He grabbed my camera and said he was going to knock me the f-ck out!” Treadstone exclaimed.

The officer responded saying, “I understand that,” while continuing to demand that Treadstone leave the area of public sidewalk the pro-Trump group was gathered on.

You need to go down there right now,” the officer demanded.

“Just me?” Treadstone asked.

“Yes, because as soon as you go down there all these people will follow,” the officer said.

“He came up and threatened to knock me out!” Treadstone attempted to report, once again.

At this point, the first officer appears to call for backup, as the other cop tells Treadstone, “I don’t care.”

Sadly, this is just the latest incident of left-wing violence against supporters of the president which, Daily Caller Assistant Editor Peter Hasson noted, is becoming the norm.  Recently, Hasson said, a Huffington Post article suggests liberals turn up the heat on Republicans no matter where they are:

The author, Michaelangelo Signorile, called on protesters to harass Republicans at dinner, when they’re out shopping and even at home. Societal norms for the basic levels of decency one should afford political opponents, Signorile argued, no longer apply to liberals.

“It’s time to move beyond polite protests within specified boundaries. It’s time to escalate the expression of our outrage and our anger in a massive way,” he wrote.

Starting today and from here on, no elected official ― certainly those in the GOP defending and supporting Trump on a variety of issues, for example ― should be able to sit down for a nice, quiet lunch or dinner in a Washington, DC eatery or even in their own homes. They should be hounded by protestors everywhere, especially in public ― in restaurants, in shopping centers, in their districts, and yes, on the public property outside their homes and apartments, in Washington and back in their home states.

The article, Hasson said, has been shared more than 29,000 times.

Sadder still, Democrats like Maxine Waters and Chuck Schumer, aided and abetted by the so-called “mainstream media,” seem to have no problem with the violence being visited against Republicans.
