Cult Hero of the 70s, Tom Laughlin, AKA Billy Jack has died at home. He was 82. Laughlin made his first Billy Jack film in 1967, the very forgettable, “The Born Losers”, where he takes on a motorcycle gang. Then in 1971, he did a sequel, simply called, “Billy Jack.” Hollywood refused to distribute the movie, so Laughlin rented movie houses to show it. It was like discovering gold and there were two more sequels about Billy Jack and the Native American Freedom School, he protected.
