The Biden Border: “A Breathtaking Level of Incompetence”

Biden Administration move will make Border Crisis worse

A former federal prosecutor, Jonathan Fahey, made this statement about the Biden border: “It’s a breathtaking level of incompetence.” He’s right, and it’s about to get much worse as of Thursday when Title 42 expires. CBP was authorized by the “powers that be” to release the surge of migrants into cities across the region. One Texas Congressman, Tony Gonzales, was told by the President of Guatemala that there are 80,000 illegals, primarily from Venezuela, waiting to come to America at the end of Title 42. And no one at the White House would take his calls.

U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, says he learned from the president of Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei, that more than 80,000 migrants, primarily from Venezuela, are moving toward the U.S.-Mexico border, ahead of Thursday’s expiration of Title 42.

President Giammattei also said he tried to call the White House on the matter, but nobody would take his calls. Bill Melugin, Greg Wehner at Fox

Someone at the DHS reportedly told media that they were starting an enforcement of illegals sleeping on the street in El Paso. By the time agents showed up, most of the illegals were gone. Surprise.

Of course, many of them also turned themselves in to CBP.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

However, the CBP has been given the authority to release illegals into “safe” US areas as Title 42 expires, with an expected surge of migrants.  What this means is that where hundreds of thousands of illegals have been released into the US, now there will be even more as facilities are overwhelmed. Which they have been since tens of thousands of migrants have already entered the nation illegally. Some of them are criminals.

Texas has worked under Operation Lonestar to try to mitigate the overwhelming numbers of migrants, but they continue to arrive and evade authorities. Biden has reportedly authorized 1,500 active duty troops to the border, but according to the Constitution (posse comitatus) they cannot participate in enforcement actions. So far around 550 have been deployed, with 900 more due to arrive at the end of May.

The forces will mainly be used to help monitor and watch the border, or do data entry and support, and are “not there in any way to be interacting with migrants,” said Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder, Pentagon press secretary. The goal is to free up U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel to do law enforcement activities.

“They needed assistance performing some of those back shop type requirements so that they can focus on the law enforcement aspect of this,” Ryder said. Military Times

Operation Lonestar reports migrants leave clothes and trash behind as they navigate their way farther into the nation.

How long can a nation sustain such a crisis? We can’t.
