AS rational folks are keenly aware, merely functioning under missile fire is an enormous strain and challenge. Ipso facto, at this existential juncture in time, living in Israel necessitates that safety lies atop all else. It is to said end, first and foremost, that it becomes a moral imperative to ensure that a flow of “SPECIAL DISPATCHES” are prominently featured across various political and intelligence sites.
THAT being established, prior to introducing today’s (for the most part, unexplored across media platforms) subject matter, some backgrounder is in order.
IN between this writer’s specialty, that is, Islamic Jihad, exists a sub-specialty: solving criminal cases; underpinned by rock-solid girdings of forensic science – honed within years of study at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, with practical application thereof under the legendary wings of Prosecutor/DA in Manhattan, Robert Morgenthau. Indeed, it was a supremely huge challenge; an honor of a lifetime.
IN this regard, confronted by a troubling, suspicious death – yes, its “suddenness“, coupled with other variables – is mind-boggling. And akin to a dog with a bone, it will be solved. Puzzle pieces….with the assistance of a very capable helping hand.
IT is more than a head-scratcher – and with particular aspects that are, somewhat, reminiscent of Tair Rada’s murder; what was vehemently presented as fact-based, in reality, was nothing of the sort.
AS such, our highly experienced, non-bowed investigative team waded through reams of bizarro, through-the-looking-glass, junk (forensic) science, so-called evidence, for months on end. For further edification, if interested, its basis resembles a wild theme-park-ride – the likes of which must be deemed as a template for “lessons learned“; attesting to the lengths officialdom will go through to hide the cold, hard facts, be it in Israel or America.
AS excerpted….and with a distinctive shout-out to Dr. Chen Kugel ala Abu Kabir Forensic Institute….see below,
……
MORE specifically, it was through the above heavy-lifting – dutifully required to unmask the real perpetrators to this “crime of all crimes” – that a “blessing in disguise” entered this insidious unmasking. Presenting,
CSI Israel
With new technology, Israel’s forensic experts bring to life the things we see on TV crime series, and put behind bars the culprits of cold cases; but in some cases, like the Tair Rada murder, DNA technology fails to deliver.
EFFECTIVELY, due to full-on liars, knaves, and worse spread throughout this hideous smoke-screen, a/k/a show-trial (supposedly, to bring justice to loved ones, already suffering from the butchering of dear, sweet Tair), the aforementioned “blessing in disguise” brought this dogged investigator to the doorstep of Dr. Chen Kugel!
IT is within this criminal/forensic science nexus that the theme of today’s report comes full circle, that is,
The Hidden Facets/Truths Beneath (Many) So-Called “Sudden” Deaths
OVERWHELMINGLY, how many are aware that a growing proportion of so-called “sudden” deaths are hardly what they seem!?!
TO wit, to internalize said highly disturbing statement necessitates a two-prong knowledge base.
PRONG ONE:
Upon an out-of-the-blue death, it is imperative to understand that asphyxia/strangulation mirrors the overall pathological symptoms of cardiac arrest via a natural death, albeit, they are not the same. Understood?
FOR instance,
While both asphyxia and cardiac arrest can lead to death, they are distinct medical conditions. Asphyxia refers to a lack of oxygen supply to the body, while cardiac arrest is the cessation of heart function. Though asphyxia can cause cardiac arrest, the two are not the same, and distinguishing between them in criminal cases is crucial for accurate legal assessments.
PRONG TWO:
IN general, if outward signs appear to mirror cardiac arrest – even sans any medical history supporting said “cause of death“- medical examiners/pathologists at receiving hospitals have no legal standing to demand post-mortem autopsies.
NOT only that, if next of kin – generally, one’s spouse, whose focus may very well be on a life-insurance payout, or an unwillingness to split the marital assets – stands in opposition, knowing full well that asphyxia/strangulation often goes undetected without an autopsy, said decision cannot be over-ruled, that is, unless criminality is suspected via clear and convincing evidence! If the aforementioned is not tilting at windmills, as well as the height of circular (il)logic, what else qualifies? Anyone?
AND herein lies an ever-burgeoning escape from justice, the deceased, be damned.
NOW, knowing the ins and outs of the so-called justice system (within America and Israel), it will shock some to find out: yesteryear, men were more prone to lethal criminal actions. However, women (more accurately, “she-devils“) are outpacing men by a wide margin. Ain’t that special….progress.
ALONGSIDE the above, lies the two most favored “methods of choice” – a toss-up between poisoning and asphyxia. This is so for highly practical reasons: poisoning does not require physical strength, albeit, patience is required. Generally, it takes more than a few doses for the victim to succumb. As per asphyxia, smothering via a pillow is effective and almost impossible to detect – again, without an autopsy!!
BOTTOM LINE: none of the above is meant to lend any ideas to the criminally-bent, heaven forfend. Rather, it is a cautionary warning to those who find themselves wondering: what exactly happened to our loved one who appeared full of vigor in the morning, only to no longer be among the living in a matter of hours!?! By any measureable standard, “suddenly” is on-target.
BY the way, not everyone (in Israel) has access to decision-makers that can bring evil-doers (who may even walk closely among us) to their knees; the likes of which operate within Abu Kabir. Regardless, please don’t let that stop the truth from coming to the fore, painful as it is.
MOST significantly, if there is even a niggling of suspicion pointing towards foul play, contact your local authorities, post haste. Timing is everything!
