SecDef Pete Hegseth stated that he has launched an intense investigation into the Afghanistan debacle that left 13 US service members and countless Afghans dead. It also left Billions in American military hardware for the Taliban to play with, our citizens, war time friends, and Afghans who tried to hang on to the aircraft to escape also dead. But accountability is on the way.
These 13 service members were killed during Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
Pete Hegseth just announced an investigation into the withdrawal.

And in a real life “justice” move of the Afghanistan debacle, the Trump administration hired Marine Col Stuart Scheller, who raised questions and demanded accountability for the disaster. He was fired from his job by the Biden administration because of the questions he raised. Now he has a new job as advisor for Personnel and Readiness to SecDef Hegseth. We love it.

What goes around comes around. While Dems whine about Pete not doing something more important, he will get to the bottom of the swamp that caused 13 of our best to be murdered. It’s about time to attach real accountability to the Afghanistan debacle.
