Texas Republicans say ballots changed to Clinton-Kaine after voting, judge says ‘nothing wrong’ with machines
On Monday, voters in Texas said their electronic ballots suddenly switched to Clinton-Kaine after they selected a straight Republican ticket, KISS-FM reported. According to the story, the incidents happened to voters in Amarillo and Dallas, but a county judge said there’s “nothing wrong” with the machines and blamed the voters.
KISS-FM’s original report said:
It’s common to see pictures of the “I Voted!” stickers on social media. It’s not as common to see the stories I’ve been seeing today.
Two voters from Canyon posted the experience they had while voting. Apparently, when these voters chose the straight Republican option, the ballot selected Clinton/Kaine instead of Trump/Pence.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
One voter recalled her experience on Facebook:
A voter in Dallas added:
KISS-FM continued:
According to the Randall County Elections Office, they were aware of this mistake but addressed it as user-error. They said that there are several voters each year who report that their ballots are mismarked, but they are usually caused by the voter accidentally selecting a different party.
Tensions are especially high this year because of the controversial candidates running for president. There are many state and local offices on the ballot, so even if you aren’t sure about your presidential selection, try to get out and vote.
But Potter County Judge Nancy Tanner said Tuesday morning there’s no “there” there.
“There is nothing wrong with any of the machines we use for voting. They do not flip your vote. They do not flip parties. Humans do that,” she said in a statement. “There was one incident in Randall County where a voter voted straight ticket and when they hit the vote button, it flipped parties…The machine was then checked and nothing was wrong with the machine.”
So it’s the voter’s fault that the machine flipped the vote for Clinton and Kaine after selecting a straight GOP ticket.
Right…
KISS-FM said voters should always double-check their ballots, no matter which party they’re affiliated with.
Good idea.
Sadly, this is the type of thing we expect in some states, but not Texas. Worse yet, the Democrat-media complex has pushed the narrative that anyone concerned about voter fraud is a racist puppet working for Russian Predisent Vladimir Putin.
There are also concerns that machines provided by a Soros-linked company are being used in several states, but it doesn’t appear that Texas is one of them. If we learn otherwise, we’ll update this post.
Zero Hedge reported:
Smartmatic is providing machines to Arizona, California, Colorado, Washington DC, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin, which means these Soros and Clinton linked machines are going to take the votes of thousands of Americans.
Wonderful…
