Texas Doctor Kicked Out Of Senate Hearing During Gender Reassignment Fight — Here’s What The Media Got Wrong

Dr. Steven Hotze has never been someone to back down from a fight. Last week in Texas was no exception.

The Doctor who fought tooth and nail against Covid lockdowns and told people to make sure they had enough zinc and vitamin D when anyone taking such positions were still put on the naughty list is taking another stand. This time, it’s against the mutilation of healthy tissue in children in the name of ‘gender-affirming care’.

At exactly the moment in time when European medical experts are already pumping the brakes on these surgeries, now that the benefit/harm ratio has been skewing the wrong way especially for teens, American activists are swinging for the fences. Biden has been leading that charge, but we see it at other levels of government as well.

Lawmakers in Texas are grappling with Texas Senate Bill 14, and whether to outlaw gender reassignment procedures for minors. You can already tell which way this story is going to slant when you see him described as a ‘controversial’ doctor. You’re not likely to see that adjective tacked in front of the name of, say, Fauci.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Dr. Hotze appeared as a witness, but he did not mince any words once he showed up, including the allegation: ‘pedophile proponents sexualize children in order to groom them’.

As we said, Dr. Hotze didn’t mince any words. He eventually managed to get himself kicked out of the hearing. But only when he dropped a profanity into the record.

Biblically-illiterate reporters were confused by a direct quote of the words of Jesus, which they dismissed as ‘outlandish remarks’.

However, the doctor then stunningly said those that aid gender reassignment procedures would be ‘better to put a millstone around your neck and throw yourself in the sea and drown.’

‘The idea that a man can claim to be a woman, or vice versa, is absurd and unscientific,’ he added. ‘It is a perversion of the god given natural order.’
Hotze’s aggressive remarks caught the ire of State Senator Menendez, who appeared to become emotional as he slammed the frequent references of transgender individuals as ‘pedophiles’. […] After interrupting each other several times, the state senator said: ‘(Trans people) are not pedophiles, they’re living as their true selves.’
This led Hotze to sharply shout: ‘That’s bull****’ – at which point Republican State Senator and committee chair Bryan Hughes kicked him out of the session.

What the Doctor said would make more sense to the Daily Mail had they bothered to crack open scripture to read where Jesus said:

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. — Luke 17:1,2 (KJV)

As for the ‘groomer’ remarks?

Most cultures have been very careful to protect the innocence of children. Care was taken not to awaken a child’s imagination to sexual concepts at too early an age. The frequent arrests of teachers who have been busted with teenage students are a reminder of why that practice was adopted in the first place.

But was Dr. Hotze out of line to invoke pedophilia and perversion in his objections to this surgery? Judge for yourself:

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH),  the international association which sets guidelines for the medical ‘transitioning’ of children, has been collaborating with participants of a fetish forum that hosts and produces fictional child pornography and extreme sadomasochistic content.
On December 3, 2021, WPATH released draft guidelines which included, for the first time, the category of ‘eunuch’ as a protected “gender identity.” WPATH’s updated 8th edition of their Standards of Care (SOC), which recommends medical treatment and services for those with a self-declared ‘gender identity,’ describes the relationship between “eunuch-identified people and other transgender people.”

Nah, nothing sketchy in that crowd at all. Especially in light of questions being raised by professionals in the field who have been challenging WPATH’s standrds of care: “WPATH’s neglect of safeguarding issues for children, its adherence to ideological views unsupported by evidence, its exclusion of ethical concerns, and its mischaracterization of basic science all make its Standards a fundamentally unreliable guide.”
