Underage teenagers were caught on home video harassing U.S. Republican Congressman Dave Brat, who represents the 7th District of Virginia, and his family at their home, 8NEWS ABC reported.
Congressman Brat said his teenage daughter was home alone when four young men targeted their house. They knew who lived there, and what they did was all caught on camera.
Congressman Dave Brat said politics hit too close to home this weekend after supporters for his political opponent, Democrat Abigail Spanberger, showed up at his front door.

The footage clearly shows one walk onto Congressman Brat’s front porch, leaving a note that read, “rot in hell.”
“This kind of stuff has no place in politics. What mom and dad want their kid to have to go through this stuff?” Brat told 8News.
Four young men, carrying political literature for his opponent, also peer in the windows and walk out onto the driveway to take pictures.
The congressman’s teenage daughter, who was home alone, watched it all on her phone, frightened because of her uncertainty of what could happen next. A photo of the same four teenagers — on the very same day — was posted on the Facebook campaign page for Abigail Spanberger with a caption that reads, ‘not old enough to vote but old enough to make a difference.’
They were reportedly canvassing for their candidate in an area near Representative Brat’s home.
“This kind of stuff should not be happening,” Brat added. “In this toxic environment, we need to ratchet things down and calm it down.”
“We do not need people showing up at people’s houses writing ‘rot in hell. That’s the opposite of what we need right now in politics.”
