Yesterday, the Supreme Court leak of a draft opinion suggesting overturning Roe v Wade may have spelled the end of the Supreme Court as we know it. Someone, likely a liberal, leaked a first draft of a SCOTUS opinion supposedly written by Justice Samuel Alito in February. It was completely damaging to the trust between staff and the Justices, and fomented a giant wave of leftist outrage. It also caused Democrats to once again push for packing the Court. Not to mention the immediate need for more barriers around the Supreme Court to keep the protesters at bay.

Of course the Biden administration is set to move against the decision should it turn out to be real.

“Reproductive rights” are the mantra of the left and have been for decades. In fact, abortion is murder, and numerous liberal states have been passing or are poised to pass laws that allow infanticide (killing a baby that is born alive). The Biden administration has been planning to take Texas to the Supreme Court over their law restricting abortions. The Texas Lt Gov told reporters that if this draft stands, they plan to outlaw abortions entirely. This Supreme Court leak adds fuel to the already raging fire.
The draft begins: “Abortion presents a profound moral issue on which Americans hold sharply conflicting views. Some believe fervently that a human person comes into being at conception and that abortion ends an innocent life. Others feel just as strongly that any regulation of abortion invades a woman’s right to control her own body and prevents women from achieving full equality. Still others in a third group think that abortions should be allowed under some but not all circumstances, and those within this group hold a variety of views about the particular restrictions that should be imposed.”
The purported draft opinion on the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, court file 19-1392, a challenge by the only state-licensed abortion clinic in Mississippi to the state’s Gestational Age Act, which allows abortions after 15 weeks’ gestation only for medical emergencies or severe fetal abnormality. Citing Roe, lower courts held the state statute was unconstitutional.

If the photocopied image of the document obtained by Politico is real, the screaming temper tantrum may never end, and the division of the once United States of America will nearly be complete.
