SNL writer hammered after calling Barron Trump ‘this country’s first homeschool shooter’

Barron TrumpOnce upon a time, the children of politicians were off limits.  But now that the country has elected a Republican to the White House, all bets are off and even children are fair game.  On Friday, “Saturday Night Live” writer Katie Rich went after Barron Trump, the young son of President Donald Trump in a tweet in which she called him “this country’s first homeschool shooter.”

She deleted the tweet after keeping it live for about three hours, but not before it was captured for posterity:

SNL Barron Trump

“Is that the kind of ‘comedy’ SNL goes for these days?” Twitchy asked.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Apparently so.  Many weren’t happy at all:

That’s putting it mildly.

That’s easy — liberalism, as I’ve said repeatedly since February 2011, is an ideology of rage and hate.

It would seem so.

Very true, whether the father of said 10-year-old is the leader of the free world or not.

Yeah…

Yes it is.  Sadly, liberals prove theirs is an ideology rooted in hate on a daily basis.

Mediaite noted:

For the record, Barron Trump is not homeschooled, and there are plans for him and Melania Trump to live in the president’s New York penthouse until he finishes the year at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School.

It’s not the first time the young Trump has been targeted by liberal hatemongers as we reported here.  Sadly, Friday’s attack probably won’t be the last.
