The House of Representatives voted 224-198-2 to censure Rep Al Green for his heckling and disruption of President Trump’s joint address on Tuesday, March 4. The minute Speaker Johnson gaveled the vote as passed and asked him to come to the “well,” Progressive Democrats gathered around Green and started singing, which once again violated the decorum of the House. The action prevented Green from hearing the wording of the censure, so Speaker Johnson was forced to gavel in a recess.
Has the continual singing and acting like out-of-control teenagers embarrassed enough Democrats yet? Ten of them actually voted FOR the censure. Apparently, the leftist arm of the party only operates on their Trump hate and have no ability to “read the room” after the November election. They were elected to serve the people but fail to do so on every count.
“Al Green’s childish outburst exposed the chaos and dysfunction within the Democrat party since President Trump’s overwhelming win in November and his success in office thus far. It is not surprising 198 Democrats refused to support Green’s censure given their history of radical, inflammatory rhetoric fueled by Trump Derangement Syndrome.” House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn.
Before the formal censure could be read out to Green, however, Democrats upended House floor proceedings by gathering with the Texas Democrat and singing “We shall overcome.” Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., was forced to call the House into a recess after failing multiple times to quell the protest.
Decorum eroded further afterwards, with several Democrats including “Squad” member Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., engaging in a heated exchange with Republicans, including first-term Rep. Ryan MacKenzie, R-Pa.” Fox Digital
America, if you do not rein in this bunch of “progressives” at the ballot box, our country will descend into total destruction. They disrupt because of hate. They are not rational human beings. They cannot be reasoned with in any shape or form. Trying to hold a conversation with any left-leaning person is impossible. Marxists cannot be “convinced” by normal means. They need a “come-to-Jesus” experience in order to change. The vote to censure on Thursday adding the Democrat ‘singing group’ is just one example.
