On Sunday, one suspect shot a Kentucky State Trooper on Terminal Drive in Lexington, KY. Although the shooting occurred on Terminal Drive, it did not involve the Blue Grass Airport terminal itself, according to police. He then fled the scene and was tracked by a police aviation unit, ending up at the Richmond Road Baptist Church. He then shot several parishioners inside the building: two were killed, both female, and two males were shot and taken to the hospital. He engaged police in a shooting match, one which he lost and was killed. As soon as the suspect is identified we will update this report.
UPDATE: The suspect was identified as Guy House, 47. He entered the church searching for the mother of his children, and when she wasn’t there, he shot and killed two women. One of the two men shot is the pastor of the church. Both men are recovering in the hospital. MSN

The Kentucky State Police Trooper is being treated and is listed in stable condition. According to the law enforcement press conference, the name of the suspect will reportedly be released after family is notified.
