Elections, the saying goes, have consequences. Americans have apparently decided to vote for corruption, fraud, socialism and stupidity. Now, we are beginning to see some of what the next two years will look like. On Sunday, The Hill reported that Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and his fellow Democrats are looking to investigate President Trump for being mean to CNN and the Washington Post.
According to The Hill:
In a new interview with Axios, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said that it is “very squarely within our responsibility to find out” whether some of Trump’s actions targeting CNN and The Washington Post are an abuse of White House power.
Schiff said that the panel is likely to look into Trump urging the postmaster general to double shipping rates for Amazon, which is owned by Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos.
“This appears to be an effort by the president to use the instruments of state power to punish Jeff Bezos and The Washington Post,” Schiff told Axios.
Earlier this year, the Post reported that Trump met with Postmaster General Megan Brennan about raising Amazon’s rates, despite counsel from close aides that Amazon is not responsible for the U.S. Postal Service’s losses.
The wild-eyed California Democrat has also made it clear he intends to continue pushing the Russia conspiracy.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Trump has also said he intends to investigate anti-trust violations by various Silicon Valley tech giants like Google and Facebook.
“We are looking at [antitrust] very seriously,” he said. “Look, that doesn’t mean we’re doing it, but we’re certainly looking and I think most people surmise that, I would imagine.”
Will Schiff also try to stop that effort? Who knows.
One thing is clear, however. Schiff and the radical Democrats have no interest in governing or working in the interest of the American people.
It’s all about vengeance. And control.
Republicans had better get their act together if they ever expect to make things right in 2020.
