What is being described as a possible terror attack occurred at the Magdeburg Christmas market in Germany on Friday. A 50-year-old Saudi doctor, identified only as “Taleb A.” slammed a black rental car into the crowd, killing 5 and injuring around 200 people. One victim was a 9-year-old girl.
At least 40 of the victims are listed in “serious” condition, so the death toll could increase.
Officials initially said they couldn’t give a motive. Hint: Terrorists have used this exact same method in the past: driving cars into large crowds. The Saudi doctor charged with the incident was an “asylum seeker” who allegedly was ‘upset’ with Germany’s treatment of Saudi refugees. But there was far more to it:
“Prosecutors have announced that the suspect has been charged with five counts of murder and 200 counts of attempted murder with dangerous bodily harm. They revealed that one of the slain victims was a nine year old child and that 41 people were seriously injured and, therefore, the death count may continue to rise, Welt reports.” Breitbart

The incident in Magdeburg occurred after a protest by Muslim immigrants who did not want to celebrate Christmas happened a few days before in the German town of Essen.

According to reports from Saudi Arabia, the Saudi doctor was a “Fugitive” from the Arab nation and Germany refused to extradite him.
