CBS Host Margaret Brennan is among the most ignorant of the “legacy media.” She once told Secretary of State Marco Rubio that “too much free speech” caused the Holocaust. This time she told him on Face The Nation that Mahmoud Khalil’s free speech was violated by his arrest as a terrorist agitator and demanded to know how the man was considered a “terrorist.” (So which is it, Margaret?) Rubio told her that she should “watch the news.”
Mahmoud Khalil is a spokesman for CUAD, an organization that supports armed resistance by Hamas. That makes him deportable pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1227(a)(4)(B).
Somehow, that’s not good enough for Margaret Brennan & her friends who are unfortunately leading the Democratic party.

None of the activities of Khalil are under the First Amendment – they are all under the US Code as terrorism. The Secretary of State has the legal authority to deport anyone who acts in a manner that places US security in jeopardy or defies the laws of this nation. It’s not about “free speech” it’s about behavior.

Democrats just can’t get ahold of the concept of America.
Taking people hostage in classrooms is not “protesting” Physically blocking students from attending class or any other campus facility is NOT protesting.

How can you not see crime and violations of a student visa when he is destroying the campus you’re attending, living in student housing, and enjoying the privileges of America 🇺🇸?
If it were me, I would revoke visas for a whole lot less, like just minor harassment. It clearly states that if you have a student visa, you must adhere to US laws and regulations, and committing crimes will jeopardize your visa status, potentially leading to deportation and future visa denial.
