Mike Dickinson, the unhinged liberal who once sought the House seat formerly held by Eric Cantor, now wants to be the Mayor of Richmond, Virginia.
You may recall from our coverage that Dickinson is the guy who wanted the federal government to crack down on Fox News, promised to eradicate the Tea Party, said he wants to decimate Christians and offered a $100,000 reward for nude pictures of hunter-cheerleader Kendall Jones.
Oh, and by the way, he also proclaimed that he was okay with the extermination of five million Americans, specifically, the members of the National Rifle Association.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
When I saw that he had thrown his hat in the ring for the top spot in Richmond, I reached out to him and asked, half jokingly, if he still wants to see NRA members killed.

“I am officially a candidate to run for the mayor of Richmond,” said Dickinson.
Dickinson has hosted events like the “White Trash Bash.” Is he a serious candidate?
“I’m very serious,” said Dickinson. “I pay taxes. Would this Mike Dickinson host a ‘White Trash Bash?’ Maybe not. It just goes to show I’m not somebody who was born and thought of myself as a career politician.”
And, it seems, he’s still serious about wanting to kill everyone in the NRA.

And for someone who professes to not be a career politician, he sure likes to see his name on a ballot, even though he’s gotten his clocked cleaned every time he’s run…
And given that municipal elections generally see a very low turnout, it’s quite possible Richmond voters could elect a bloodthirsty genocidal maniac to office.
By the way, the chyron used by WALB could be a bit confusing. To my knowledge, Dickinson isn’t a “former felon.” That refers to another candidate…
Still, Dickinson is quite scary and has no business being in public office at any level.
