On Thursday, the Daily Wire and others reported that Republican senators are now seeing a sharp uptick in death threats and threats of violence being leveled at them by far-left domestic terrorists desperate to stop the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court — apparently by any means necessary.
Death threats against Republicans and conservatives are nothing new, but it seems the climate has gotten so bad that senators actually had to discuss security measures, Fox 57 reported:
For more than two years, the country has become more politically polarized and civility has been on a downward trajectory. In recent weeks, a number of members of Congress sounded the alarm after receiving death threats related to the Supreme Court nomination and allegations of sexual assault.
Members of Congress are no strangers to public hostility over hot-button issues like health care, immigration, civil rights or war, but some argued the current atmosphere is different.

“There’s a lot of unprecedented activity taking place,” said Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn. At the Tuesday meeting, he noted some senators expressed a previously unseen sense of “danger” about the political atmosphere.
“We’ve been through this in the past, but this is the worst it’s been since I’ve been here,” he continued. “I think we need to recognize that it’s not going to go away with the final determination of whether [Kavanaugh] is going to be on the Supreme Court. There’s something underlying there that we’re experiencing throughout the country right now that we’ve got to figure out a way to address.”
“The level of intensity is probably unlike anything I’ve seen in three and a half years,” Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., told local Washington, D.C. media.
While not quite as ominous, Planned Parenthood issued two tweets that look to be very-thinly veiled threats:

While GOP senators and their families have seen a sharp uptick in threats from leftists, reports say that one Florida Trump supporter was charged after allegedly threatening to kill Democrats and “weak Republicans” who vote against Kavanaugh.
According to MSN:
James Royal Patrick Jr. was arrested at 4pm on Wednesday and charged with making written threats to kill or injure, Polk County Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators say they received an email tip at 11am that day about threatening posts Patrick, 53, made on this public Facebook page last month.
Authorities said that Patrick threatened to shoot members of Congress and their families depending on which way the confirmation vote went.
He also made threats against any local and federal law enforcement officers that might respond to his home.
Besides threatening Democrats and ‘weak Republicans’ who might oppose Kavanaugh, Patrick also encouraged conservatives to break into liberals’ homes and kill them in their sleep.
Of course, this is despicable, but something tells us the level of threatening behavior is far greater on the left, but we’ll never hear the full extent of it from the so-called “mainstream media.”
Meanwhile, Faye Higbee tells us that paid far-left protesters have been found to have ties to George Soros.
We can’t help but wonder — is there a connection between Soros and some of these threats?
As Jim Simpson noted, it’s time this orchestrated campaign of psychological terrorism come to an end.
