Report: Portland bar offers free whiskey for life as reward for punching Steve Bannon

Paydirt, bar, Portland, Steve Bannon, punch, free whiskey

On Sunday, Cassandra Fairbanks reported that Paydirt, a bar in the liberal enclave of Portland, Oregon is offering “free whiskey for life” to the patron who punches White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.

According to Fairbanks:

Imagine the outrage if someone on the right solicited violence against anyone in the Obama administration, they would immediately be branded domestic right-wing terrorists. Somehow, seemingly endless calls for violence against the Trump administration are not only acceptable among the left, it is celebrated.

Located at 2724 NE Pacific, Paydirt previously donated a portion of their inauguration day sales to Planned Parenthood.

“Inauguration Day is not going to be easy. We’ll be donating a portion of ALL sales this Friday to Planned Parenthood. Come drink with us,” the bar advertised on their Twitter account.

“The establishment frequently uses anti-Trump imagery in their advertisements, clearly unconcerned about alienating people with differing political views,” Fairbanks added.

The bar’s Twitter feed was made private, perhaps as a result of this report exposing some of their antics.

Fairbanks continued:

According to US law, threatening public officials other than the president is a Class C or D felony, usually carrying maximum penalties of 5 or 10 years under 18 U.S.C. § 875, 18 U.S.C. § 876 and other statutes. It is also against the law to solicit violence against public officials.

The email account listed on the Paydirt website was inactive when we reached out to the bar for comment. Phone calls to the establishment were not answered by the time of publishing.

In February 2011, I first said that liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of rage and hate.  Sadly, liberals prove that assertion correct on just about any given day…
