Report: Man admits murdering wife, pets, thanks NRA, Trump, Mitch McConnell on Twitter before reportedly shooting himself

There’s an old adage that liberalism is a mental disorder.  It seems that one Washington state man may have just proved that adage correct.  On Saturday, the UK Daily Mail reported that 56-year-old Kevin Heimsoth is suspected of fatally shooting his wife and their two pets.  According to the report, he seems to have admitted to the murders in a series of chilling Twitter posts aimed at the NRA, Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

His wife, Lynn, 58, was the principal of Bellingham Sunnyland Elementary school.  According to the report, she, along with their beloved therapy dog, Sukha and their pet cat, was found dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.

The Bellingham Herald reported that Heimsoth appears to have sent four Twitter replies stating that he had killed his wife and their pets:

In a reply to the NRA’s Merry Christmas tweet — which had 175 comments and 1,400 likes as of Friday afternoon — the account possibly belonging to Kevin Heimsoth tweeted that “Guns don’t kill people, people do.”

The tweet then goes on to say that AR-15s make it easier, and that the user “jsit (sic) killed my whole family, and i couldnt have done it without a gun!”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

In a separate reply, he thanked McConnell and also apparently admitted to the murder in a tweet responding to President Trump.

“Moscow Mitch and everyone else for making this possible. Some should call for a wellfare check at [address] in Bellimgham Wa. Lots of blood…thoe [sic] dog was the hardest,” he allegedly wrote.

The Daily Mail further noted:

The user of the account then posted the original tweet two more times, replying to messages sent out by President Trump and Mitch McConnell.

Heimsoth is also alleged to have turned the gun on himself. He was wounded and remains in hospital under police guard.

The Bellingham Herald could not confirm that the Twitter account belonged to Heimsoth, but they stated that it is connected to emails and phone numbers that are linked to him.

Heimsoth is reportedly in critical condition with a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and is under guard by law enforcement.
