Over the weekend, CNN reported that five attorneys representing former President Donald Trump in his Senate impeachment trial left over disagreements about how the defense should be run. In their place, two attorneys, David Schoen and Bruce Castor, stood up and agreed to represent the president. But it seems that unhinged leftists have already broken out the long knives and are threatening the attorneys.
According to a thread posted to Twitter by Alexander Muse, leftists have issued demands that the two attorneys be disbarred and have their degrees revoked.
“BREAKING: Democrats are waging war against two lawyers who are rumored to be representing President Trump in his Senate impeachment trial. Reportedly, Alabama lawyer David Schoen and Pennsylvania lawyer Bruce Castor selflessly took the president’s call and agreed to defend him,” Muse said on Twitter.

The thread, which has been compiled, adds:
2/ As a result, it is reported that Boston College Law School, Columbia University Law School, Washington & Lee University are already facing calls from wealthy Democratic alumni to withdraw Schoen and Castor’s law degrees.
3/ Additionally, The Clerk of the Supreme Court of the U. S. has also received demands that Schoen and Castor be removed from the Supreme Court bar.
4/ The Scottish Rite is also under pressure to expel Castor, a 33rd Degree Mason, from their ranks. Even his church, Abington Presbyterian Church, is being asked to ex-communicate the lawyer.
5/ The Alabama Civil Liberties Union is under pressure to remove Schoen from their board as is the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
6/ Every American deserves a vigorous and robust defense. The effort by Democrats and the disgraced Lincoln Project is an assault on our Democracy.
