The Red Cross is bowing to the radical transgender lobby and is now officially endangering our blood supply with a change to its policy. The health group has announced that it will now accept blood donations from gay men, as long as they claim to be “transgender.”
The Red Cross barred gay men from donating blood because of the AIDS crisis because the deadly, blood-born virus that was practically a death sentence for millions of gay men for so many decades. It is a good policy because AIDS never went away. Gay men are still passing AIDS to each other and any women who has the misfortune of having sexual contact with them.
The American Red Cross has changed its webpage explaining its policy for “LGBTQ+ Donors” with a new policy that has a change date of Jan. 27, 2023.
The ARC claims that it has changed its policy after it was given “updated draft guidance from the FDA on blood donation eligibility criteria related to gay and bisexual men.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The policy page goes on to insist: “Our top priority is the safety of our volunteer blood donors and the patients in need of lifesaving blood products. Our employees and volunteers are trained to be sensitive to the needs of all potential blood donors.”
OK, great.
Then it adds: “The American Red Cross believes blood donation eligibility should not be determined by methods that are based upon sexual orientation. We are committed to working with partners toward achieving this goal.”
Well, isn’t that peachy? Safety of the nation’s blood supply be damned, we have the radical transgender lobby to be made to feel better.
Finally, this group that is supposed to be dedicated to medical science defies science with this lunacy: “We understand that there is a difference between biological sex and gender. ”
And the organization takes another stand against science, adding, “In the context of the donor history questionnaire, FDA recommends that male or female gender be taken to be self-identified and self-reported.”
So, now, the group is setting out to taint our blood supply with AIDS-infected blood just to satisfy the political agenda of the radical transgender left.
So much for the science.
