Rapist Released from Prison Due to Covid Kills Accuser

Alexandria, Virginia – Alleged rapist Ibrahim Bouaichi, 33, was accused of rape, sodomy, strangulation, abduction, burglary, and malicious wounding in a case involving Karla Elizabeth Domiguez Gonzalez, 31. A Grand Jury indicted him an all counts except the malicious wounding. He was held without bond…until Covid-19 got him sprung from jail. On July 29, Karla Domiguez was found dead in her home with multiple gunshot wounds. (The Ohio Star)

An alleged rapist released because of a virus

Karla reported that she was raped by ex-boyfriend Bouaichi on October 10, 2019. He turned himself in on October 21, 2019 and was held without bond. But in March, when the courts were shutdown from the CCP virus, defense attorneys filed for release of their client because of his “health.” Bouaichi was supposedly NOT eligible for release because of the violent nature of the charges against him. Judge Nolan Dawkins granted his release April 9 on a $25,000 bond over the objections of the prosecution. His trial date was pushed back to May 4 and rescheduled again to August 17.

He was not supposed to leave his house except to talk with his attorneys or for pretrial services. He left his house.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

On July 29 at around 6:20 a.m., police received reports of gunshots at Karla’s residence. By the time they arrived, she was dead. Bouaichi was nowhere to be found,  and police launched a manhunt.

They obtained a warrant for his arrest, but didn’t find him until a week later. On August 5 at around 11:00 a.m., he led police on a short chase in Maryland until he crashed his vehicle. Police found that the alleged rapist had shot himself when they arrived. He was taken to the hospital, where he was still in critical condiction as of Aug 8.

What was that about only ‘nonviolent’ offenders eligible for release?

The Virginia judge who released Bouaichi retired in June, and has refused to comment to news sources.

Bouaichi had criminal record from an incident in Maryland where he rammed a police car that had an officer and a K9 inside.  No one bothered to check his background before releasing him. At the very minimum there should have been a flag on this criminal’s file that notified the woman that he was being released. That is a standard notification.

It shows what happens when the system drops the ball. As of April, there were 16,000 criminals released across the country due to the virus. By the end of August, at least 8,000 more will be released in California. Jefferson County, Alabama is limiting jail admissions to “violent felons” who cannot make bail. (Prisonpolicy.org) Prison officials DO have the ability to mitigate the health of their inmates.  You wouldn’t know that by listening to liberals.
