James O’Keefe is the founder of Project Veritas. The Board recently removed him in a forced “leave of absence.” They cited that he is difficult to work with…which is often the case of strong leaders. His news media has been at the forefront of undercover methods and releases of information unavailable anywhere else. The following tweet was also marked as “not accurate” because another member stated that O’Keefe was actually removed by the Board. (The Post Millennial)

Board member Matthew Tyrmand is widely thought to be the one who initiated the internal coup against O’Keefe. The fallout for Project Veritas may be extreme. Numerous people stated that they would no longer listen to the organization.
Most Responses to the development on Monday were positive for James O’Keefe, and less than happy about the Project Veritas Board.

The situation was likely a planned coup and had little to do with James O’Keefe’s personality. PV has been a thorn in the side of liberals since 2011. They are rejoicing today, but there will likely be a tomorrow that will once again light a fire under their feet.
