Prez takes pounding in polls as Idaho protesters give him hot ‘welcome’ in Boise
Joe Biden is declining in the polls in several key states, and this comes as hundreds of Idaho residents, some allegedly open carrying firearms, showed up to protest his appearance in Boise where he spoke at the National Interagency Fire Center about this year’s forest and wildland fires.
CNN White House correspondent Jeremy Diamond tweeted there were “lots of pro-Trump & anti-vaccine signs as well as some open-carry firearm displays,” according to the Daily Caller.
Welcome to Idaho, Joe.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The New York Post reported that Americans “in six critical swing states disapprove of the job President Biden is doing than approve as the administration tries to recover from the bungled military pullout in Afghanistan and a resurgence of COVID cases across the country.”
The newspaper said Biden’s approval ratings in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Texas “lag behind his disapproval ratings by 10 points or more,” according to a Civiqs survey.
Then comes the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll. Monday, poll numbers found Biden with a 46 percent approval rating and a 52 percent disapproval rating.
A separate Rasmussen poll shows that only 34 percent of likely voters think the country is headed in the right direction. A whopping 61 percent think the country is on the wrong track.
According to the New York Post, 59 percent of Texas residents disapprove of Biden while only 33 percent approve. In Georgia, 53 percent disapprove and only 38 percent approve, the story revealed. Florida and North Carolina find Biden with 40 percent approval and 53 percent disapproval, while Pennsylvania—which Biden won last year—shows Biden with 41 percent approval and 51 percent disapproval.
But here’s the stinger: “Broken down by party, Democrats approve of Biden by 84 percent to 6 percent, but Republicans disapprove of him by 95 percent to 3 percent,” the Post story said. “Among independents, 59 percent disapprove and 30 percent approve.”
Biden went from Idaho down to California, where he made a stop on behalf of Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is facing a recall election Tuesday. Newest polls on that election show Newsom surviving, with critics of Republican Larry Elder, who is seeking to replace the governor, calling the popular conservative radio host “the black face of white supremacy.”
