Protesters in Portland, Oregon continued their destructive ways Sunday, as reported by the Portland Oregonian, only this time their target was the Multnomah County Democratic Party headquarters in an act that might be called an example of what goes around comes around.
According to the newspaper, “Demonstrators shattered windows and graffitied the exterior” of the building before the demonstration essentially evaporated into the neighboring area. The destruction indicated that protesters, who identified themselves as Antifa, according to Fox News, are interested only in property destruction and attacking society.
But now Democrats get a taste of what conservatives have been coping with for months.
According to a Portland Police Department report, three people were arrested for criminal mischief. The suspects were identified as James Walker Prettyman, 24, Maximillan Jennings, 22, and Thomas Mollrocek, 33.

The Daily Caller portrayed the protest group as a “mob” and said they defaced the Democrat field office with graffiti, including “BLM” and “ACAB.” Demonstrations have been ongoing in Portland for several months, and now that Joe Biden has been declared the winner of the 2020 presidential race, they are continuing to create problems in the Rose City.
Portland, like Seattle, is a hub of far left politics, but while many might have thought the Biden win might calm things down—since far left demonstrators finally got their way—that does not appear to be the case.
If Biden backers expected support from this bunch, it now appears they were wrong, since one of the messages left spray painted on the Democrat building said “F— Biden.”
Meanwhile, President Trump’s attorneys are continuing to look into allegations of voting irregularities in several states that allegedly cost him re-election. There are ongoing legal efforts in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada and Georgia. There are also reports of irregularities in other states.
It will be difficult, if not impossible, for the president’s people to provide evidence that the alleged irregularities might have prevented Trump from winning Nov. 3.
Along the campaign trail, the president had predicted repeatedly—to guffaws from his critics—that a COVID-19 vaccine would be available before the end of this year. Monday saw his prediction come through with an announcement from Pfizer about a 90 percent effective vaccine. It sent the stock market skyrocketing, and sent strong economic signals.
But it does not appear Trump will be getting much credit for being right. On the other hand, now Biden may learn how it feels to be the target of destructive demonstrators.
Conservatives have been putting sarcastic notices on Facebook that Trump supporters have not been protesting Biden’s success as the left wing behaved when Trump won in 2016.
