This is not a joke, America. Hatred against Christians is on the rise…in America. Pastor William Schonemann of New River Bible Chapel in Arizona was murdered as he lay in his own bed. First the suspect killed him, then crucified his body to a wall – with a crown of thorns jammed onto his head. The crime occurred in April, but not reported widely until now.
Adam Sheafe admitted to the crime in a jailhouse interview with NBC12 in Coconino County. He will be extradited to Maricopa County where the crime took place soon.

Sheafe said his motivation behind the murders had everything to do with religion. He called it “Operation First Commandment,” as he believes the New Testament of the Bible and Jesus Christ go against the commandment, which says, “You shall have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3, NIV).
“His commandments have been annulled by this character called Jesus, a human being who I believe is the son of Satan,” Sheafe said.
He continued, saying he believes he is carrying out a crusade for God, but denied any thoughts that he may be mentally unwell.
“No, maybe I’m the one that sees truth, and maybe it’s everybody else that is deceived by Satan,” Sheafe said. “So if that makes me mentally ill for following what God says, then so be it.” …
“I saw that he had a Wednesday evening Bible study, so I sat there and waited for them to arrive, so that I could locate which one was the priest, and then I just followed him,” Sheafe said. “And then I returned on Sunday to execute and crucify him to this wall.” NBC12
Sheafe reportedly stole a car in California and traveled to Arizona. Then he literally stalked Schonemann. He had plans to kill at least 14 more pastors/priests in as gruesome a way as possible. After this murder, he drove in his stolen vehicle to Sedona with plans to murder two priests at Chapel of the Holy Cross. He put up a tent near the church so he could watch what was happening. Then he got into a car chase with police. Thank God they were able to catch him before more Christians were murdered.
Sheafe believes he can’t be killed, so he told NBC12 that they should put him on death row immediately. He doesn’t believe he is mentally ill. Most leftists don’t believe they are mentally ill either. For Pastor Schonemann, being crucified was a horrific end to his life.
The warning is this: the hatred spewed at Christians is rising. Much of the nation’s academia is rabidly anti-religious and they push it into their students. They view strong Christians and devout Jews as mentally ill and believe they should be either “re-educated” or eliminated. Every last one of them should be forced- FORCED – to watch the October 7 videos from Israel and this man’s jailhouse interview. Maybe it would do nothing to stop this, but maybe for a handful it might. The there are the crazies like Sheafe, who likely can’t be fixed.
For all Christians: pay attention to your surroundings. Don’t be naive like “God will protect me.” He will, but you might not appreciate what happens in between if you’re not staying prayed up. Being crucified like Jesus is not the favored way to go Home. Whether you are a parishioner, priest, or pastor, you could be a target. You don’t have to be a suspicious idiot to be watchful. The demonic realm is real.
