Arguably, Orlando is cursed. Either that or the tragedies befalling the Florida city are one of the worst set of coincidences ever.
Initially, a top finisher on NBC’s The Voice, singer Christina Grimmie was killed by a crazed stalker. Soon to be followed by the Islamic jihadist Orlando Massacre. Then came the heartbreaking story of 2-year-old Lane Graves who was killed by an alligator.
Now Orlando is being rocked by yet another case of an adult making sexual advances on a child. As reported by Breitbart.com, and also the Orlando Sentinel, the Orlando Police Department (OPD) had busted karate instructor Stephannie Figueroa on a slew of charges.

While on the surface the Figueroa arrest wasn’t particularly newsworthy in and of itself. That is until one digs just a bit deeper.
The Orlando cops have charged her on a number of charges. Specifically, Attempted lewd or lascivious conduct, solicitation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, showing a minor obscene material, and finally, child abuse.
Figueroa was picked up by Orlando’s Finest when the mother of an 11-year-old boy found numerous sexually charged texts, photos, and at least one video on his phone that were sent by Figueroa via the Kik messaging app. The connecting thread between her and the boy is the Next-Gen Xtreme Martial Arts studio in Orlando. The studio still uses dozens of photos of Figueroa interacting with a number of under-aged children. On the karate school’s Facebook site, Figueroa is billed as a World Champion as well as the studio’s Chief Instructor.
The OPD has released to the public that the minor child has stated that Figueroa “had sent him nude photos of herself.” Also it’s alleged she sent pics of her “private parts,” and “had been flirting with him.” The boy told police Figueroa had “sent up to 15 separate nude or partially nude photos of herself.”
But the accusations don’t end with highly sexual images. As reported, “The boy said Figueroa sent him a message saying she wanted to invite him to her 21st birthday party, and that nobody else would be home, police said. ‘I want to have sex with you,’ Figueroa allegedly wrote, according to police. ‘OK IDC [I don’t care,]’ the boy responded.
In the meantime, Figueroa is being held on no bond in the Orange County Jail. Investigators believe there could be other victims, an Orlando PD spokeswoman said.
