Protesters against Oklahoma Senate Bill 129 (The Millstone Act) and other anti-trans legislation occupied the State Capitol building on Monday. The bill would prohibit doctors from “providing gender transition procedures or referral services relating to such procedures to anyone under the age of 26.” The bill classifies such actions as a felony and leaves doctors subject to license revocation as well. The bill authorizes the Oklahoma State Attorney General to enforce it. The legislature has not yet voted on the bill.
SB 129 – Prohibits doctors from providing gender transition or referrals to anyone under the age of 26.
SB 250 – Prohibits medical officials and entities from receiving reimbursement through Medicaid if they officer transgender surgery.
SB 252 – Prohibits children under 18 from receiving transgender surgery.

HB 101 – Prohibits doctors from giving a referral for puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender reassignment surgeries for people under the age of 21.
The approximately 150 protesters were largely from Oklahomans for Equality and Freedom Oklahoma, but also included a few other groups. OK Governor Stitt is strongly in favor of the bills.

The protesters from Oklahomans For Equality and Freedom Oklahoma started their demonstration outside the building, then moved indoors.

The most restrictive, Senate Bill 129, seeks to ban such treatment for anyone under the age of 26 by punishing doctors who provide those services.

The transgenders protesting called the bills “genocide.” The problem is – my own opinion here- is that the term “transgender” is a total construct promoted by people who seek to destroy the lives of human beings. Emotion is transitory – it is not stable, and floats with the prevailing winds. An entire generation of children have had their lives destroyed because of a lie.
Building inner strength is not about protesting things someone doesn’t like, or about “feelings,” it’s about overcoming circumstances that hit us all during a lifetime. Oklahoma Senate Bill 129 and the others simply force kids and doctors to take stock of what is real before being allowed to make a change that could affect them forever. It punishes money-hungry doctors for pushing those changes on a young person or child.
