Obama slams ‘stressed’ Americans as racist, lazy while speaking in Laos
While speaking in Laos, President Barack Obama slammed Americans frustrated with the economy as racist, Breitbart.com reported Wednesday. Worse yet, he also slammed Americans as lazy and ignorant.
“That especially becomes a problem when the economy is not doing well, and so people feel stressed,” he said. “Typically, when people feel stressed, they turn on others who don’t look like them.”
What?
Breitbart added:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
He blamed the faltering economy for causing the problems in America’s society.
“When suddenly things are harder, people start saying, ‘Ah, you know what, this is the fault of the Chinese,’ or ‘This is the fault of Jews,’ or ‘This is the fault of the Houthi,’ or whatever,” Obama said.
Obama made his remarks during a town hall with young people at Souphanouvong University during his visit to Luang Prabang, Laos.
He praised America’s many food cuisines and music as a positive result of multiculturalism and also pointed to the Olympics as an example of American success as a result of its diversity.
“One day perhaps we will have a President who doesn’t take every opportunity abroad to either apologize for America or denigrate Americans for a foreign audience,” said a post at Truth Revolt.
But that’s not all. According to the Federalist, Obama expressed hatred for Americans, calling them “lazy” multiple times.
“Usually when you see the environment destroyed, it’s not because it’s necessary for development,” he said. “It’s usually because we’re being lazy and we’re not being as creative as we could be about how to do it in a smarter, more sustainable way.”
The Federalist added:
He also accused Americans of being isolated and ignorant because the United States is such a big country.
“The United States is and can be a great force for good in the world. But because we’re such a big country, we haven’t always had to know about other parts of the world,” he said. “If you’re in the United States, sometimes you can feel lazy and think we’re so big we don’t have to really know anything about other people.”
Here’s video of just one of his statements:
Maybe one day we’ll have a president who loves this country and the millions of people in it.
