Obama Says Benghazi is a Wild Conspiracy Theory

So let’s ask you: did Barack Obama run afoul of the truth in his speech at the University of Illinois? You know, the speech he gave when he accepted the University’s “ethics in government” award (there’s an oxymoron). There were several places that lacked truth, but the part about Benghazi being a “wild conspiracy theory” was particularly bad.

Obama terrorist attack pardon

At first, he sounded almost normal. But then we hit this part:

“This Congress has championed the unwinding of campaign-finance laws to give billionaires outside influence over our politics; systematically attacked voting rights to make it harder for young people and minorities and the poor to vote; handed out tax cuts without regard to deficits; slashed the safety net wherever it could; cast dozens of votes to take away health insurance from ordinary Americans; embraced wild conspiracy theories, like those surrounding Benghazi or my birth certificate; rejected science, rejected facts on things like climate change; embraced a rising absolutism, from a willingness to default on America’s debt by not paying our bills to a refusal to even meet, much less consider, a qualified nominee for the Supreme Court because he happened to be nominated by a Democratic president. None of this is conservative.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

I don’t mean to pretend I’m channeling Abraham Lincoln now, but that’s not what he had in mind, I think, when he helped form the Republican Party. It’s not conservative. It sure isn’t normal. It’s radical.”

The only things ‘radical’ out there are the left wing Democrats who embrace Communism, Socialism, advocate the destruction of police, scream and yell at everything and call everyone bigots and racists. THAT’s radical.

Voting rights: no one is “attacking voting rights.” Common sense dictates that if you have to have ID to drive a car or buy booze, get a passport, etc., then you should have ID to vote. The issue here goes back to when Obama specifically told illegals they could vote because no one was paying attention, which was against Federal law.

Tax Cuts/Economy: The American people and especially businesses suffered under heavy taxes that were stifling the economy. Barack Obama’s plans were to raise taxes even more, and particularly on businesses. So Americans could barely eek by and businesses couldn’t hire new workers. Even black Americans were thought of as so worthless that the government had to give them handouts.

Oh, and that mention of deficits? Obama spent trillions on programs and ideas that pushed America even farther into the deficit pit. Yet he clamped down so hard on the military that we went backwards in our strength. It was called the “sequester.” Planes had no replacement parts. Accidents  occurred. So let’s not be talking about how wonderful Obama was with money.

Obamacare: Republicans haven’t been able to totally remove the grand plan of Obama, but speaking from experience, the premiums on health insurance for “ordinary Americans” literally tripled under his plan.  Having to pay for the healthcare for people who don’t have insurance is expensive and daunting. No one has come up with a solid solution yet. Meanwhile, the costs keep rising. At least President Trump has worked hard to pull some parts of it out.

“Wild conspiracy theory”  Benghazi

But the worst one, the very worst thing he could have said was calling Benghazi a “wild conspiracy theory.” Let’s see, four dead Americans, that’s a “conspiracy” alright and it was on the part of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Susan Rice. They tried to lie to the American people. Four men died: Sean Smith, Ambassador Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Dougherty. For John Tiegen, Kris Paronto, and Mark Geiss, the contractors who fought to save lives, take out the enemy, and stay alive through 13 hours of hell…that was not a conspiracy “theory.” Obama and Clinton refused to send help. The annex team watched their teammates die. Wild conspiracy theory? Bulls***.

And never forget Extortion 17 – there were lies in that thing so deep that even now it reeks. People died.

The administration of Barack Obama was the worst thing to ever happen to America. His “fundamental change” was to create such division that recovery from it is exceedingly difficult.

In spite of Obama’s prediction that the economy will never grow and we’ll just have to “get used to it,” here we are at over 4%.  Lies, lies, and more lies have left the nation fighting to regain our strength. Even though he attempted to take credit for the recovery, that doesn’t wash with the truth.

We will ‘Make America Great Again.’ And we will do it in spite of Obama’s 8 years of backwards “progress.” Just don’t forget to vote in November, and let’s set every state awash in Republican red.
